A bunch of good guys who live in the south? I fell in love with those books. I think some of the reviews here are a bit harsh. Veltan came and warned the outlanders to reach safe ground as Yaltan was having a dream that was about to unleash a behemoth. The plot isn’t very interesting, and the writing is completely flat. But one ray of hope shines davkd the darkness: Elderr had already read them before in a storyline I was more interested in. I did think passages of time were glossed over, which would have been fine, but there was the sense of huge changes in the world when Zelana retreated.
As for this book specifically I actually enjoyed this book a lot more than I thought I would.
